Hartzog Prevails on Summary Judgment in Wrongful Termination Suit
Katie Weaver Hartzog won a motion for summary judgment on behalf of a behavioral health service entity on plaintiff’s claims for wrongful termination in violation of public policy. Plaintiff alleged that he was terminated to cover up allegations of patient abuse and Medicaid fraud. Hartzog successfully argued that plaintiff’s termination was justified due to allegation that he assaulted a patient.
