Hartzog Obtains Dismissal of ADA and Wrongful Discharge Action in Eastern District of North Carolina

Katie Weaver Hartzog  recently obtained the dismissal of an action brought by a mechanical employee against her client, a district manager.  The action advanced claims under the ADA and for tortious interference with contractual relations, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful discharge in violation of North Carolina public policy.  The Court held that, in light of the plaintiff’s allegations, claims brought against her client were insufficient to survive dismissal.
